Fnday 19th October 2009 sees the National Press Launch of  Lady G's Cookery School at Middleton Lodge.  A day for the press to come through the doors of the Lodge and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.  They will be putting on their aprons and have the opportunity  to experience a taster of the residential one day cookery course.  G and Caroline will be demonstrating and cooking alongside the journalists who will be very hands on! 

After their hard work the journalists will be able to relax and enjoy the peaceful ambience of Middleton Lodge before they dine with the team.  They will be dining on the food they have helped to create during the day and tasting wines supplied by Corney and Barrow.

The first One Day Residential Courses are in November.  Starting in the New Year a variety of different courses will be available please look at Dates 2009/2010.

Since our Press Launch we have had our first One Day Residential which we filled and we along with our students felt was a great success.

In December we had a Student Mock Up day, trying to spread the word.  We had another You Tube video made.  Go to our 'Student Residential Courses' and you can view the You Tube Video.

The new year is now here.  We have One Day Residential Courses each month throughout the year.  if you want to have your own Course, this can also be arranged.  

March 2010 

1st March one lady has got 10 people together and they are all coming to learn about Game Cookery.

We will be doing Tapas courses come the summer, Picnic Courses, B-b-que courses, whatever the course you would like, we will put one together.

If you would like to see some of our recipes, check out Luxe Magazine.  Luxe is a magazine for the North East, there is a column called 'The Supper club' this is put together by Caroline and myself, each edition has a new three course menu at your disposal.

We are planning to do some Father and Sons, Mother and Daughter (or the other way round) courses later on in the year.  if you are interested please do email us.

As Easter approaches we are starting to turn or attention to Student courses as much as One Day Residential's.  We are very aware of the 'food issues' that can arise in teenagers, Obesity at one end of the spectrum and Bullemia/Anorexia at the other.  We very much want to show teenagers how you can eat healthily without putting on/taking off lots of weight  We have a Nutritionist coming on board to help teenagers in this area.
